A Thanksgiving Prayer For Quilters

We give thanks for cotton, for colors bold and bright,

For pastel tints, the rainbows hues, for shades both dark and light

We give thanks for batting-so puffy, soft and clean

Packaged for quilts of every size for beds from crib to queen

We offer thanks for templates, for needles, scissors, threads,

That help us make the quilts we want to cover our beds

Supplies for quilts are plentiful; we're grateful for the riches

Of materials to work with as we take our careful stitches

We're grateful too, for magazines that gives us all the news

Of other quilters around the world and patterns that they choose

But most of all, we're thankful for the comfort and the pleasure

That we get from knowing quilters and making quilts to treasure

Let's all be grateful for the marvelous Blessings bestowed upon us!
