June Program: “Where did you get that?”
We are having an ... “Audience Participation” program!!!
We have all been to a sew day or a class and someone has a cool tool or accessory that you won’t find in your local quilt shop!
So, if you have one of those nifty things that you use and it’s not from a quilt shop, bring it to share with your fellow guild members!  We learn from each other!
In appreciation for your participation we will have a little something for you….

July Program: Hand Piecing 101
Our own guild member Mona Redlich will present a program on Hand Piecing. Yes, the thought of that just made a couple of you faint!
You may think that “nobody does hand piecing anymore” but, you would be wrong! Hand Piecing has made a
surprising resurgence and is now done with more modern methods. No longer are we collecting cardboard boxes or foam
meat trays to make templates - now we have template plastic and can even use stamps on our fabric with ease!
If you have never tried Hand Piecing we highly encourage you to try it! As a Guild we are all about
learning something new and this will be a great opportunity for you! It is also a great traveling project
and can go with you anywhere! Mona is also doing a workshop on the Friday or
Saturday (July 28 or 29) following the meeting. You can sign-up for the workshop at the May and June meetings.
Cost is $20.
